My name is Anjali Rowe, I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to the Untied States when I was two years old. I am from
Newington, Connecticut. For the most part I really enjoyed highschool I made good friendships and played soccer and ran track for my school. Some fun facts about me are that my favorite color is
purple, Chris Brown is one of my favorite music artist among others, my favorite sport is soccer- I have been playing since first grade, before coming to college I played on a premier team that was called FSA United FC and currently play soccer here at Nichols College. I am a freshman here at the college. I am majoring in Psychology and hope to some day work for DCF. While taking this class I hope to learn different programs on computers that will help me in the future with professional activites. The blog that I chose is a blog that is all about
soccer girl problems in the blog it talks about all the problems that girls who play soccer go through from as little as picking out what color pre-wrap to wear at practices or games to other problems such as not being able to hang out with friends because your always busy, having blisters 24/7, and getting turf burn. Some of the other things that is on this blog are people who post questions/comments on things and then the creator of the blog will post answers and comments back on it. The reason why I chose to write about this blog is because soccer is one of my passions and I like to read things that other soccer players post. I know that this blog is crediable because it came off of a popular website that alot of people use to post blogs about various topics.
I think it is really cool that you were born in Jamaica. I also play a sport here a Nichols and I am also majoring in Psyhcology. I dont really know much about soccer but the blog you picked out seem pretty cool and interesting.
ReplyDeleteI am also from CT. I am from hartford but i went to school in Farmington and we played Newington a few times in basketball and it did not go to well for them. I also play a sport here at nichols, but it is not soccer i am a basketball player here. I am majoring in Accounting. i would have to say that i do not have a favorite music artist, i listen to everything and everyone. My favorite color is red, and i use to go to FSA all the time seeing how it was in Farmington and i spent all my time out there watching my boys play soccer and i know the kid who's parents own the whole place.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you had said about Chris Brown, he is one of my favorite artists, and he has an amazing voice!! I also thought it was awesome how you grew up in Jamaica. Soccer is also something else i really liked about your blog because I have been playing my whole life, and it is something I love doing. We played together at Nichols too! I love the fact your blog was "soccer girl problems" because I follow them on twitter, and everything they say is so funny and true! I chose to reply to your blog because there were some things that we both had in common, and thought it was cool!
