Big K.R.I.T.
Justin Scott (professionally known as Big K.R.I.T.) is an American rapper from Mississippi. His music consists of having southern influences and catchy beats to help reel in new listeners. I don't remember exactly how I first found him but once I heard him for the first time, but his music isn't like all of the hip-hop/rap that you hear about today. For example, he came out with a mixtape two years ago called 4eva Na Day (which was a big download hit), there was a song called Boobie Miles that talked about not giving up and seeing everything till the very end. In the song Red Eye he talks about how he and his girl were having fights and how he wasn't able to meet up with her standards. He released his first studio album Live From the Underground in June 2012. Songs like If I Fall, Praying Man with legendary blues guitarist and singer B..B. King, and Don't Let Me Down show parts of his life that mean very much to him. But K.R.I.T. was able to make a club hit called Money on the Floor with 2 Chainz. Personally, I think that Big K.R.I.T. could become a huge star in the rap industry. His style is good and his head is in a better place than just thinking about money, girls, drugs, and cars. He could either become a legendary artist like 2pac or he could fall into the fame and fortune of a crap rap star like Trinidad James. But that's just my opinion.
