Vacation in Paradise

If you’re looking for a great vacation spot, I’ve got a
great recommendation for you. I’ve been to a few tropical places and there is
one specific place that stood out to me. This place is Atlantis. I went there
on a cruise with my best friend almost a year ago. I had the time of my life
and would go back there any day. Atlantis is located on the Nassau Island
in the Bahamas. With the crystal clear blue water and palm trees it is
absolutely beautiful here. Atlantis is
the definition of paradise.
Whether you
are looking for a quick getaway or a log leisurely vacation, Atlantis is a
great place to go. Although Atlantis is pricey, I believe it would be worth it.
There is so much to do; I went to the water park and I’m itching to go back
again. In the water park there are waterslides, pools, cabanas, river rides and the ocean. It's simply relaxing to sit by the pool in the warm sun. (All the picctures are ones I took during my trip!)

They have a hotel inside Atlantis called “The Royal Towers”. This hotel is considered the "deluxe accommodations". This is
usually where the stars and celebrities stay; each room overlooks Atlantis. Upon entering the water park, they give you a tour of the water park so you know your way around and they also tell you some history of Atlantis. It's interesting and a great way to start your day. There are many things that will keep you busy while you’re
in Atlantis. You can go to the water park, casino, spa, golfing, the fitness
room, shopping, rock climbing, go to the ocean, go swimming with the dolphins and much more.
The activities are endless and it will be one vacation you will never forget.

There were three things that I liked most about Atlantis; one was going in the river. The river is kind of like a lazy river but it's fast. I must have done this half of the day. The second thing I loved was the water slide in the shark tank. On the commercial you think your tube slides fast down the tunnel but in reality, it's not fast at all. You're a foot away from a shark for a good minute in the tunnel. The third highlight of Atlantis is the drinking age is 18. Being able to walk up to a cabana and order a drink was the cherry on top of the perfect vacation.
Hayley, I agree! Atlantis is the best vacation I have ever been on! I also did my blog on the same thing, what a coincidence. Looking at your pictures make me want to go on vacation especially because you took them yourself. My family and I have a time share but because it is so pricey I don’t think we are going this summer. My favorite part was the waterslides and sitting by the pool. I am not a ride person but I felt like I couldn’t leave unless I went on all of them. The scariest one was the Leaf of Faith. It was no longer than three seconds down the slide but it was extremely fast. The best part about having so much to do here, is site seeing. There is not an area you go to where you don’t want to pull out your camera. You definitely can’t go a day without sun screen in this weather!
ReplyDeleteHayley, I also agree that the tropical countries are the best places for vacation. I am from the Caribbean, so I know how the weather feels likes and makes you want to stay there forever. I have never been to Atlantis, but by the way you are describing it remind me of my country's weather, greens, and the natural environment. In the pictures I can see why you are itching to go back there, because its beautiful, the temperature is different, and the water is not cold. It most really feels like paradise. Personally I like any type of history it would be the perfect place for me to take a vacation. I like going to water parks, and fitness. I have never swim with dolphins and I have never been to the casino. I hope that one day I take a vacation there, to experience this amazing moment of yours.
