Longhorn Steakhouse Review

For those of you who have never been fortunate enough to dine at Longhorn Steakhouse, you're missing out. Longhorn Steakhouse was founded in 1981 by George McKerrow. Longhorn currently operates 354 restaurants in 33 states. It has been rumored that they are expanding in Arizona as well! "LongHorn Steakhouse’s Arizona expansion continues with the planned opening next week of its newest restaurant in Chandler," said Tim Gallen.

Growing up in Dudley, I always have enjoyed going to the Longhorn Steakhouse in the Millbury shopping plaza. Not only do they have great food, but they have always had excellent service as well. Longhorn is always a very busy restaurant, but their staff always does a great job keeping the wait for tables to a minimum. The staff is always extremely nice and makes their customers feel right at home. The Fort Bend Food Blog also commented on the service, "We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We visited on a Sunday evening and were able to get a table for 4 with no problem."

Ever been to a restaurant when it is either freezing or extremely humid inside? No matter how good the food is, the atmosphere inside the restaurant plays a big role in the "rating" of the total experience. Longhorn Steakhouse is always very comfortable inside, not too hot and not too cold!

In addition to a great selection of delicious appetizers on their menu, waiters and waitresses always have a nice portion of bread and butter to offer for each party, before their meal arrives. My personal favorite appetizer is the Texas Tonion, it's delicious! Longhorn is always running a number of lunch and dinner specials, which seem to change on a monthy basis. When I stop for lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse, I usually either get a burger or the parmesan crusted chicken sandwhich with fries. You really can't go wrong with either choice, they're both amazing!
The best meal at Longhorn Steakhouse is definitely dinner time! For dinner, I always enjoy the parmesan crusted chicken with the rice pilaf and mashed potatoes. The parmesan crusted chicken is so good, it just melts in your mouth. I was never big on rice, but they have the best rice that I have ever had! I don't know what it is seasoned with, but whatever it is I love it! You also can't forget about what Longhorn is famous for; their steak! Longhorn has the best steak around! As good as the meals are at Longhorn Steakhouse, the meal is never complete without a dessert. I personally enjoy the Mountain Top Cheesecake, but there are a variety of choices!

Longhorn Steakhouse is by far my favorite restaraunt, if I could I would go everyday! Longhorn makes any "great" restaraunt look just average. Be sure to check out a Longhorn Steakhouse near you, you won't be disappointed!

  1. Mike,
I also love Longhorns, and go to the one either on Millbury, or in Leominster since my dad lives up there. You say that the staff is great at the Millbury Plaza one, which is awesome because my old math teacher from high school is also a waitress there. The parmesan crusted chicken is also usually what I get when eating there, although I think that I would be completely satisfied there just having bread and water like a prisoner. I think that their bread alone is something that makes the restaurant worth going to. Because of the prices, and me being a poor college kid, I usually only go there when my dad is with me so that I don’t have to pay. This is his favorite restaurant, which works out really well. I sometimes switch up my meal and go for their famous steak, which is what they are known for like you said.
