Nike Fuel band
The nike fuel band has gotten a lot of mixed reviews, some good and some bad. If you are really into fitness and dieting then getting the band is defiantly a good investment, but might be a process to set up if your computer challenged. The biggest problem with the fuel band is the set up that you have to go through to just to get to use it. Not only do you have to download the software to your phone but you also have another app from nike that you have to download to log into your account and keep track of your progress. But once all your software is installed the log in and loading process is simple. You have to enter all the typical stuff like your weight, height and gender and enter all your daily goals; for example, the amount of calories you would like to burn a day and carb intake. It also gives you fuel points which you earn by walking and burning calories.

Another great feature about the watch is that it puts in a pool with other people who use the fuel band so you can compare your progress. You can even chat with some of them if you go online and see what they have changed in there every day lives to reach there calories burned ect. The band shows you which hours of the days you are most active and times when you could maybe use some more excise or fit something in that time to make you drop calories. Overall the band is a great investment if you are really focused on staying fit and being active, its like a daily log that you have but without the hassle of having to write it all down yourself.
I thought this was very interesting how you talked all about the Nike Fuel band. I always wanted to get one but I didn't know too much about them. I thought it was cool how you talked about the LED lights and how they change colors to see the calorie count. I thought it was interesting how you can see other people's calorie counts and compare them with yourself.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see a review on this because ever since I heard about this a few months ago I have been dying to get one! They are a little pricey so I have to invest in it, which I would like to in the near future. I work out daily, but I don't use machines that count calories burned or anything. I do a lot of olympic lifting at a high intensity and a lot of other functional movements with Crossfit. I have always wondered how many calories I burn during my workouts, and this would be great for me to try, so I could get an idea. I like that you can set daily goals for yourself too. This is a really neat and interesting product.
