Lindsey Stewart

This past spring break I went to North Carolina with my roommate.  I mainly went down because I never have been down South before and I wanted to check out schools down there.  I noticed that down south everything is really flat and its different compared to here because here there are many hills and mountains around here.  I liked it a lot because of the weather the different restaurants they had down there.  I loved waking up to all palm trees in North Carolina.  From Connecticut it took about 11 hours to get there, which was not a bad drive at all.  When I was down there I went to UNC Wilmington and visited the school to see if I liked it there.  They had a great campus and everyone was involved with something.  If I were to live there I would go to school their and play soccer and get a job their in the summer.

  1. I went away during spring break as well, although my break wasn’t very relaxing vacation because I was in Florida to play softball and we didn’t really get much time to relax but I did enjoy the nice warm weather and the pretty palm trees and being near the beach was great too. I’ve been to North Carolina before was yet again it wasn’t for vacation it was for sports. But I have heard they are many nice and beautiful school down south, my cousin goes to school in South Carolina and said she, that she personally loves it down there. I do not know anyone who goes to UNC but I have heard very nice things about it. I think getting involved in school life is a very good idea, here at Nichols I play a fall and also a spring sport and I am also in two clubs. Overall I think North Carolina is a nice place to live and to also go to school because of the nice atmosphere there is down south.
