So many people in my life have given me good advice. One
very good tip that I have reserved was from my dad and it was about sports. He told
me never to give up in any sport that I played. He was my softball coach was I was
younger and he always thought me when I was either hitting or throwing, he
always told me to follow through on everything.
He also said while swinging and hitting to be short and quick to the
ball. When I first started playing softball I started off as a right handed
batter and switched to a lefty slapper my freshmen year in high school with was
a huge adjustment for me to make. My dad
has always been there when I needed help with sports. Everything I do with sports he always tells
me to never get down on myself when I make a mistakes or an error in a
game and work on my mistakes in practice because practice makes perfect and
ever to give up on. Because when you give up you get nowhere in life. When my
dad stop being my coach as I grew up he would still cerotic every move I made
during the game of softball. Because I play second base and it isn’t as important in the diamond as
all the other one but it is still s big roll. Some of the tips my dad gave me for
fielding grounders and catching pop fly balls such as, having the right foot
movement if the ball is hit to the right or left side. Also where to throw the
ball in the infield once it has been fielded. Any advice that my dad gives me
is prosbley the best when it comes to sports mainly because he played sports
his whole life and coached both me and my brothers in both baseball and in also
softball so he knows what he is doing. I took his a playing tips when I was first
starting off in my fifteen year long softball career and still using his tips
today while play college softball here at Nichols
