Keratin Treatment
For many of you girls out there, straightening your hair is a popular thing to do to change up your style. Maybe you have a special event where you want that different look or you are just tired of the same hair style. But using a straightener is time consuming and damaging to your hair.
There is a process that can save you straightening time and not damage your hair. The process is called a keratin treatment and you can have it done at your local hair salon.
Keratin is a protein that is naturally in your hair. The treatment to straighten your hair involves your stylist applying a keratin hair-straightening product to your hair and then sealing it in with a flat iron. The process takes about 90 minutes. The results are spectacular. The time to blow dry your hair will be reduced by about 50%. When you are done blow drying, your hair is as straight as if you just used a straightener.
The keratin treatment is a great thing to do before the summer months. The reason for this is that the hot, humid weather will make your hair immediately frizz when you go outside.
