My sister goes to Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio and
is a sophomore there. I have never seen her campus, or met her friends. This
week, I get to spend a week in her sorority house that is located on her
campus.
I am aware that almost $700 is very expensive for a flight,
especially since it is to Ohio, because lets be honest, what is in Ohio?
However, I bought this plane ticket about two and a half days before I left, with US Airway Express, and also had to figure out times that people could get me to and from the
airports.

Since I am staying in my sister’s house, I do not have to
pay anything for boarding. With there being a limited amount of times she can
swipe into the dining hall, we will have to go and buy some food that we can
eat at her house, but still not expensive as having to go out and pay for meals
every night.
I am very excited to spend time with my sister, since I only
get to see her in the summers and over winter break. Next year, Ashley is going
to Spain, and will not be home at all for winter break. This way I get to spend
time seeing her school and seeing how she lives in Ohio before she is gone for
a year.
I may be crazy to some people for spending so much money,
but I think the memories that I make over this trip will be priceless. Also, I
have been working since I was 14 years old, and think I deserve this vacation
in order to spend time with my best friend who is also my sister.
Mandy, First of all I think it's pretty cool that you went to Ohio for break. But I also think you're crazy for spending that much money. But I am a firm believer in making the most out of life so good for you! I always thought that your sister went to WPI, so I am a little confused. I have never heard of Heidleberg University. How did you like it? What did you do? For the amount of money that you spent to go there you must have had a good time! Since she is so far away, I am guessing that she doesn't come home too often. When do you usually get to see her? How come you decided to go to college so close, and she went so far away? I know different people like different things, but that is a lot of distance for two sisters who are very close!
